METIN CELAL
Born in Ankara in 1961. He studied Petroleum Engineering at ODTU and did Postgraduate Studies in Media Studies at Istanbul University. He worked as a General Editor at various Publishing Houses and magazines. He was the chairman for EDISAM The Owners of Literature and Science Works Professional Union. He currently is the Publisher of Parantez Publishing and the General Secretary of The Publishing Union of Turkey. He writes under the title of “The Books I’ve Read” every week at Cumhuriyet Books. He has published four poetry books, two critical books, two novels and many compilation and anthology studies.

ÖMER SEVİNÇGÜL
At the age of fifteen he had decided to become an writer. During his education life, he always read and wrote.During his university years, he published a magazine called “Fidanlık” (Nursery Garden). After graduating from his degree, he locked his Diploma in Engineering in a drawer and completely dedicated himself to literature. He wrote stories, essays and narratives. His essays and stories were published in Bogazici, Zafer, Sur, Kopru, Adi Yok magazines. He worked as an editor. He attended seminars and workshops on youth issues. He had many youth programs on various television channels on art, literature and philosophy. He established the Modern Culture Center in the year 1996. He undertook many art and cultural works directed at the young and gave many seminars and conferances. He started to publish the Adı Yok Youth Literary Magazine along with a group of high school students. By establishing a “Writing Workshop” he helped in the development of many talented young writers. He wrote the book “I want to be a writer” as a guide for those young writers. He was chosen “The Artist of The Year” by the City Council of Sakarya for his contributions to art. Feta Enterprises gave him “Friendship Award” as he had “caused the young generations to meet with beauties”. He is the concept Consultant for the Adı Yok Youth Literary Magazine and Carpe Diem Book Publishing House, who he was a founder of. His “Well This Is Life” book was translated into Albanian, and his story novels “There Is One Who Loves You” and “Life Is Beautiful When One Loves”  have been translated into English.
 

KEREM TOPRAK
He studied Archeology and Art History. He joined seminars on Aestetics. He went on journeys in order to see and take photos of art works in their homelands which are a universal inheritance of mankind. His essays and travel journals were published in various art and travel magazines. He organised trips  in order to gather the youth with art works and to increase their knowledge in this field. He wrote the book “Mother, You Are The Most Beautiful Book I Have Read” for his mother who passed away at a very young age. He compiled all of his humourous writings in his book titled “Stop The World I Want To Get Off” in order “to scatter hope for the hopeless and joy for the joyless”.
 

CIGDEM CAN
Born in 1972. Her interest in science started as early as those years in which she thought she could put a ladder towards the sky and pick the stars. Her works have been published in various magazines.  The author has four published books written with her humourous style in a way which makes topics full of knowledge into a fun one.
 

MINE SOTA
Born in Kocaeli in 1972. Many of her works have been published in weekly and monthly magazines in Turkey. She has received the praises of many important authors and critics. Her first book which was published in August 2006 has had many reprints. She is perceived as  a new generation author, especially an important name in the field of humour.
 

FULYA TAŞÇEVIREN
She is a teacher of a Philosophy group. She writes humourist stories for the young readers and essays on psychology. Taşçeviren, whose writings are being published in the Youth Literary Magazines, is a young, talented and promising author...
 

ARZU YUKSEL

SEDA ŞENER
Born in Istanbul in 1986. She works as a Turkish Language teacher in a private highschool.  Her works have been published in literary magazines.  She continues her work in writing.
 

DENIZ DINCER
Born in 1970. She is an English and German translator. She currently writes research papers and essays for various magazines.
 

HAKAN KARADAŞ
Born in Amasya in 1974. He studied Sociology at Ataturk University and Law at Ankara University. He worked as a philosophy teacher for 11 years. He is currently working as a vice inspector for the Ministry of Education Supervisory Board.
 

ELIF KIRAL
Born in Istanbul in 1970. After having completed her high school at the Austrian High School she continued her studies in German at Marmara University. She has translated many German and English works into Turkish. Along with working as a translator she also writes articles on science and social issues in various magazines.
 

MERVE BÜYÜKBAYRAK
Born in 1978 in Istanbul. After her education at the Austrian College, she studied Business at Marmara University. She is currently doing translations in German and English and also writes children stories and novels.
